These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WeScan scan-to-email relay service (the "Service") operated by WeScan ("we", "our", "us"). By signing up or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
WeScan provides an SMTP relay service that allows authorised multifunction printers and scanners to send scanned documents as email attachments to a whitelist of approved recipients. The Service consists of:
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your SMTP credentials. SMTP passwords are shown once at generation time — if lost, you must generate a new password.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, illegal activity, or extended inactivity (12+ months with no usage).
You agree not to use the Service to:
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension without notice. We reserve the right to block specific senders, recipients, or content types.
Enterprise plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Payment is due at the start of each billing period. Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis for service outages exceeding 24 hours. You may downgrade to the Free plan at any time — downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for lost scanned documents, failed deliveries, or any indirect damages arising from use of the Service.
In the event of a service outage, we will restore service as quickly as possible. Enterprise plan users will receive priority restoration.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for:
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in that policy.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email to the address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Sydney, New South Wales.
