WeScan is operated by Straya Co Pty Ltd (ABN 89 642 689 076). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WeScan scan-to-email relay and digital signing service (the "Service") provided via wescan.net. By signing up or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
WeScan provides two core services:
The Service also includes a document inbox (receive PDFs by email), a web dashboard for managing recipients and credentials, and account authentication via email OTP or OAuth.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your SMTP credentials. SMTP passwords are shown once at generation time — if lost, you must generate a new password.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, illegal activity, or extended inactivity (12+ months with no usage).

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Payment is due at the start of each billing period. Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis for service outages exceeding 24 hours. You may downgrade to a lower plan at any time — downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Plans marked with an asterisk (*) are subject to fair use. They are intended for normal business use — signing and sending documents as part of day-to-day work. They are not intended for bulk sending, automated pipelines, or resale.

As a guideline, we consider more than 200 sends per day to be outside normal use. Accounts exceeding this threshold may be reviewed and, if necessary, throttled or suspended. We will attempt to contact you before taking action.
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for lost scanned documents, failed deliveries, or any indirect damages arising from use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for:

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email to the address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Sydney, New South Wales.
